The Senate organizes numerous social events throughout the academic year. The Social Committee coordinates the planning, organization, and execution of these events, often in close association with GPSCY.

Cinco de Cornhole Tournament

What goes together better than Cinco De Mayo, Beer, and corn hole? NOTHING.

GPSS is starting a new tradition: an annual Cornhole tournament! Whether you call it corn toss, cornhole, bags, bean toss, bag toss, or some other regional slang, come show off your well honed skills of throwing things in a hole while drinking beer!  Tickets at 10 bucks for you're whole team (2 people per team), and all proceeds go to charity! The winner receives their photo and team name on a plaque that will live in GPSCY for time immortal, and also bragging rights! There's also losers bracket full of free drink tickets to wash your cares away, prizes for best team name and best T-shirt!  Your ticket also gets you a free beer, free Cinco-de-cornhole appropriate foods (Tacos, nachos, etc etc) for the whole event, discounted Mexican beers, and the ability to win amazing prizes.
